Prayers for Bob and all of his family. My husband, Bill Sowers, worked with Bob’s brother, Don, many times. Seems like so many that walked in the sky are now flying in the sky. Keeping those Pearly Gates in tip-top shape.

I love my Uncle Bob for his passion and love of Jesus Christ. He was infectious. When I visited him last May, I told him how indebted I was for leading my dad into confession and acceptance of Christ months before his passing.

Bob was my Scout leader when I was in Boy Scouts (Troop 100 & Explorer Post 100). He was kind and nurturing as all of us grew into man-hood. Many life-lessons were learned from him and our other leaders. May you Rest-in-Peace Bob your work on earth is done and you will always be remembered!!!

My uncle Bob was a great mentor to me in my young years working for him as an ironworker on assembly hall on IU campus. I would ride with him and my dad to and from Bloomington for a full day’s work. They taught me what hard work was really about. He will be missed by all of us. Rest In Peace. Dick and Torey.
